In 1996 Marcus Weinhagen was a Physics student in his final days of his thesis when he founded the company with Peter Spreitz. Marcus saw a need for providing world class, leading edge solutions to the vacuum industry at a reasonable price. Peter added the business sense to the technical expertise. Initial product offerings consisted of vacuum flanges and simple components and Trinos quickly grew to meet the needs of their growing customer base.

In 2001 Trinos moved into a new manufacturing facility to accommodate the company’s rapid growth. Due to continued product development and our commitment to having the most extensive inventory available, we have decided to expand. This spring, we will add another 20,000 square feet to the existing building. The renovation will include additional R&D, manufacturing and warehouse facilities.

Today, Trinos employees over 90 people in engineering, manufacturing, sales/marketing and administration and is highly respected for providing quality equipment vacuum equipment. The company’s current product lines include: chambers, components, fittings, feedthroughs, valves, manipulators and complete systems for high and ultra high vacuum applications.
